At Park Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), we believe that we are called by God and empowered by the Holy Spirit to share Christ’s love with all people. As an open and loving community of Christians, we believe that we are to follow the example of Jesus Christ, who calls us to love God and love one another.
As a church we work hard to help those in need and encourage members of our congregation, community, and world. We provide opportunities for faith growth and Christian education, music classes for all ages, and many ministries that encourage and uplift. We offer many avenues for service in our community and we support those in need both near and far.
Most importantly, we strive to be a place where people feel welcome, where children feel loved, where youth feel heard and affirmed, and where the lonely find a friend. We strive to be a Romans 12 church.
